» What is Blogganeers?
Blogganeers is an EVE Online blog following the space careers of Metalkiss and Viin in New Eden. The blog will contain details of their travels, ratting, mission-running and hopefully their piratical exploits. Both are semi-experienced to experienced pilots with a thirst for PvP combat and an addiction to frigates (particularly Rifters and Wolves!).
» Why Blogganeers – Home of the Irish Pirates?
Both of us are Irish, and are still living in Ireland at the moment. The phrase ‘Irish Pirates’ goes back to a joke a long time ago in a very different game and universe, where we were nicknamed ‘Irish Pirates’, and a debate amongst fellow players began about whether Irish pirates really existed. The fact that we both love PvP and Metalkiss has a desire to start pirating just seemed to bring the name back. Plus Metalkiss was listening to Granuaile’s Dance at the time of creaton; a song about an Irish pirate.
As for ‘Blogganeers’ itself, that should be self-explanatory. Buccaneers being pirates, we thought Blogganeers.com would be thoroughly appropriate!
» Why do you blog your EVEing?
Both of us blog to an extent about various things, and while we were getting back into EVE in a big way we both decided that this would be a good way to write about our exploits and look back on things and smile. We plan on writing it as a roleplaying blog, as we used to roleplay together and have been looking to start again.
